But home renovations can come with a hefty price tag. Here’s some budget friendly ideas for giving those rooms in your home a fresh look - no renovation needed!
Paint: Painting is one of the easiest ways to give a room new life. Paint an accent wall for a pop of color, paint halfway up the walls for a look that won’t be too overwhelming, or buy some peel and stick wallpaper for a something bold! Paint isn't just for the walls. Do you have a bookshelf or dresser that needs a little love? Sand it down, stain or paint it, and update the hardware to get an entirely new look!
Plants: Plants not only add some great colors to your house both inside and out, they can also be very beneficial to your health and wellbeing. Houseplants can improve air quality, boost your mood, and reduce fatigue! The act of planting flowers and bushes outside can also be therapeutic for some. If you struggle keeping plants alive, fake plants are a great option too.
New Decor: Try something as simple as getting a few new pieces of decor! Switching up the curtains, getting a rug, adding some throw pillows/blankets, or hanging some wall decor (a mirror, photos, wall shelf) can drastically change the way a room looks!
